Portfolio of Works
Pets, livestock and other animals are so fun to paint. I love capturing their essence, their playfulness, their unique look. Contact me for your commission request for a pet portrait!
This collection represents the amazing ability of the land to recover from the 2017 devastating wild fire on the Bonaparte Plateau in northern British Columbia. The new birth of trees and plants and the return of wildlife can be a slow process but so welcoming to see! The Bonaparte area now sees grizzly bear as these magnificent beasts move southward due to the many wildfires that burned across the province. This is a living collection of ongoing artwork so come back periodically!
I am fascinated with painting skies because truly they reflect the magnificence of God's creativity. I am a colorist so you will notice I love splashes of oranges, reds, yellows and turquoise. Some are water scenes, some are mountains. These are some of my recent works on skies.
Small but powerful artwork can grace that perfect place on shelves, narrow walls, corners, nooks and crannies! These pieces are randomly created in oil or acrylic during studio studies, group lessons, art workshops or En Plein Aire (outdoor). They are often painted using newly learned techniques or mixed media. I offer my "bookshelf" art at very reasonable prices. Size, painting medium and price are always included with photo of art. Here's your chance for a very affordable original Marilyn Anderson painting!
The happy Album. Colorful and distinctly unique. Often mixed media. Check back often.
Because I enjoy trying new subjects, this Gallery becomes my "everything else" Album.
